Seabourn invites guests to experience the iconic Seabourn Odyssey one last time during her 22-day farewell voyage, departing on 2 September 2024 from Seattle, Washington to Yokohama, Japan. The one-of-a-kind journey will feature a series of memorable tributes to Seabourn Odyssey's greatest moments, including appearances by the original team and performance cast, incredible local performers, and unique gifts and memories to make with their Seabourn family.
John Barron and Handré Potgieter, who were part of the original team when the ship was launched in 2009, have been recalled as cruise directors for the occasion. In addition, Seabourn President Natalya Leahy will be on board in Seattle to personally greet guests and the on-board team as they embark on this special voyage.
During the 22-day farewell voyage, Seabourn Odyssey will traverse the glacial scenery of the southern regions of Alaska, visit the wildlife havens of Kodiak Island and Dutch Harbor, and explore the cultural enclaves of the Japanese island of Hokkaido to enjoy the first round of autumn foliage.
Seabourn Odyssey will touch 11 ports and destinations, including five in Japan on two islands. Main stops on this voyage will be Kodiak Island, Hubbard Glacier and Hokkaido Island.
During its 15 years at Seabourn, Seabourn Odyssey welcomed 180,454 guests on board and travelled over 859,554 nautical miles to 426 different ports, a distance equivalent to an impressive 39.7 circumnavigations of the world's equator.
