The Port of Cork is the only port in Ireland with a dedicated cruise berth in Cobh.
The second largest natural harbor in the world, Cork Harbor is rich in history with its man-made fortifications, maritime tradition and the key role it has played in significant moments in Irish history. Its natural beauty is undeniable with its breathtaking coastal views, island retreats, picturesque villages and long sandy beaches.
In 2023, more than 180,000 passengers arrived to Cork from a total of 94 cruise ships, when the last ship of the cruise season has docked in Cork. The Port of Cork marked the end of the season by welcoming the MSC Virtuosa, one of the largest cruise ships in the world, to the Port of Cork on Wednesday after its September docking was postponed due to adverse weather conditions forcing it to head to another destination.
