After completing the summer program in Northern Europe, Norwegian Prima recently repositioned itself in the Western Mediterranean for the first time.
The first trip left from Barcelona on 13 October towards Civitavecchia, the nine-night itinerary included stops in Valencia, Palma de Mallorca, Ibiza, Marseille, Cannes, Genoa and Naples , as well as Livorno, where it will spend two days docked. Other destinations visited by the ship during its autumn schedule in the western Mediterranean include La Spezia, Toulon, Cagliari and Cartagena.
On November 20, Norwegian Prima will set sail from Europe on an 11-night repositioning cruise to North America. The transatlantic cruise will sail from Barcelona to New York City and includes stops at destinations in Spain, Portugal and Bermuda.
During winter 2023-24, the 142,500-ton vessel will offer a series of seven-night Caribbean cruises departing from Galveston. Itineraries include visits to a selection of destinations in the Western Caribbean, such as Cozumel and Costa Maya in Mexico, and Roatán, Honduras.
Norwegian Prima will also make regular calls at Harvest Caye, Norwegian Cruise Line's private island destination in Belize.
According to Norwegian Cruise Line, the 3,215-guest ship was designed to enhance the guest experience by offering enhanced features and offerings. Among the facilities is the three-story Prima Speedway, the world's largest seaside go-kart track, as well as Indulge, a luxury dining hall that offers various specialties and culinary experiences.
